Computer Aided design/Computer Aided manufacture (CAD/CAM) is now available from this practice to patients who require custom-fabricated foot orthoses.

In designing these orthoses, the foot is initially digitised in the correct prescriptive position and this information is used to produce a computer model which can then be manipulated to produce the required corrective forces for the final orthosis.
